Modern Snapshot: Sligo Adventist School in Takoma Park

I recently discovered this sweet mid-century modern school in Takoma Park with all its stone and glass and sprawling zig-zag roof. Cool hanging globe lights as well. Unfortunately, it was almost dark so I could not get good pictures. So with plenty of sunshine the other day, I headed back to Sligo Adventist School, which is located here. Construction on the building began in 1963 and opened for school in the fall of 1964.

    Thanks. Maybe I should take photography lessons and then I could take even better shots.
