Event: Smithsonian to Explore Legacy of Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright Bust

An all-day Smithsonian seminar will explore the life and legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright. The event will be held Saturday, January 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the S. Dillon Ripley Center. $90 for members; $130 for non-members. Bill Keene, a Smithsonian study tour lecturer in architecture and urban studies, will lead the discussion. Participants also will hear from Thomas Wright, grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright, who lives in the Robert Llewellyn Wright House (1957) in Bethesda, which was designed for his father, FLW’s sixth child.
