1965 Flat-Roof MCM in North Arlington – $1.4 Million

I have not come across a lot of mid-century modern homes in North Arlington, but here is one worth exploring. This 5/3.5 flat-roof MCM with sits on .4 acres of mature trees in the Broyhill Forest/Hills neighborhood. The 3, 700 sq. ft. home has some Japanese touches, including shogi screen doors and window shades and deep soaking tub in the master bath. The kitchen cabinets are likely original, but painted black. One reader who saw the house suggested that some paint stripper could bring the cabinets back to their original condition. See more pictures of the home here.

I’ve not been able to track down information on the architect or builder, and the current owners did not have any information, but Marvin T. Broyhill and Sons developed much of the this area in North Arlington during the post-war period.
