Raymondale sign

This new listing on the market in Raymondale in Falls Church is a four-level split that backs up to Holmes Run Stream Valley Park. The 5 bed/3 bath home has nearly 3,000 total square feet, wood-beamed ceilings, carport and patio space backing to the woods. “Raymondale was created over the course of several years in the mid-1950s in seven sections of development,” says a short history published by the community. “Several different styles of homes were offered to prospective and eager buyers, all of them reflecting the open plan casual and family-friendly attitudes that were so much a part of post-War living.”  The 142-home community was developed by Westwood Properties beginning in 1955. The firm marketed their homes as the “‘New Look’ in a Brick Rambler.”

Nice area, larger than it looks! IMO, Roll up awnings do not belong on fronts of homes. Yikes, I’d get that off ASAP!
