Keyes, Lethbridge & Condon MCM in Flint Hill – $899K

Flint Hill

The Flint Hill community in Bethesda was developed by Edmund Bennett and designed by Keyes, Lethbridge & Condon, the team responsible for Carderock Springs. The two-level homes clad in brick and redwood won a number of awards, including an AIA Homes for Better Living First Honor Award in 1961, according to Clare Lise Kelly’s book, Montgomery Modern: Modern Architecture in Montgomery County, Maryland, 1930-1979.

This one on Nevis Road, which is listed for $899K, needs considerable work and is being mostly marketed for the lot. A number of the mid-century homes in the Bannockburn area have been knocked down and replaced with massive new homes in recent years.
