Vintage LA Vibe in Silver Spring – $515K

Silver Spring LA Style

If you wished you lived in a house tucked in the hills of  Los Angeles with a late 1960s or early ’70s vibe, take a look at this custom 1965 home in Silver Spring. Looks like it could have been designed by an architect for his or her own family, right down to built in waterbed and custom woodwork in the master bedroom. Like many mid-century modern homes in LA, the house is more private to the road and then opens up with walls of glass overlooking the backyard. This house, which sits on .56 acres and is close to 4,000 square feet,  is designed around a courtyard to really blend inside and out. Listed at $515K.

I have to say, I’ve been stalking this house and while it is probably completely ridiculous for me to even consider it, the courtyard totally does it for me. If only I had enough $$ to renovate the rest!
