Price Drop: Vintage Mid-Century Split in Alexandria – $899K

Pegram Split

This untouched mid-century modern split was recently relisted for $899K, down from $1.25 million. The 1967 home is located on North Pegram Street in Alexandria, which features a a nice cluster of mid-century modern homes, including the Charles Goodman-designed Sevareid House and several by Keyes, Lethbridge and Condon, the team responsible for Carderock Springs. The subdivision is called Moore Hill Estates.  The two-level home has 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms and nearly 6,000 square feet. It sits on nearly an acre. I love all the glass around the front door. Looks like it was built for two-Hungarian born doctors who both left Hungary after the Soviet invasion and reconnected in the United States. See their story here.
