Vintage 1967 Mid-Century Split in Alexandria – $1.25 Million

Pegram Split

North Pegram Street in Alexandria is a nice cluster of mid-century modern homes, including the Charles Goodman-designed Sevareid House and several by Keyes, Lethbridge and Condon, the team responsible for Carderock Springs. The subdivision is called Moore Hill Estates. One of the custom homes on the street is this vintage 1967 mid-century modern split-level for sale. Currently listed at $1.25 million (down from $1.5 mil), the two-level home has 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms and nearly 6,000 square feet. It sits on nearly an acre. I love all the glass around the front door. Looks like it was built for two-Hungarian born doctors who both left Hungary after the Soviet invasion and reconnected in the United States. See their story here and all the pictures here.
