Coming Soon: Pine Spring Renovation Project

Coming off the excellent reception the project in Holmes Run Acres received (3323 Holly Court sold well over asking), the team has another in the works in nearby Pine Spring. Like Holmes Run Acres, Pine Spring is a mid-century modern community in Falls Church developed by the Luria Bothers and designed by a group of D.C.’s leading modernist architects: Arthur Keyes, Chloethiel Woodard Smith, Nicholas Satterlee and Donald Lethbridge.

Architect Michael Cook of Cook Architecture, Developer Steve Wheeler of Solid Constructs and I (full disclosure: I am an owner of this property), are transforming an original 3 bedroom/1 bathroom  1,000 square-foot one-level ranch into a 4 bedroom/2.5 bathroom 2200+ square-foot modern house with soaring living room and master suite addition. Stay tuned for another update in the coming weeks. Contact me with any questions.

Here are some pictures of the house when we purchased it:

Here are a few renderings of what the completed exterior will look like. The right side features the addition with butterfly-style roof. The living room is at the front with cantilevered master bedroom at the back.
