1960 Vintage Ranch on 5 Acres in Moyaone Reserve – $390K

Laurel Drive

My vintage 1961 rambler listing on an acre in Fairfax went under contract in a matter of days. So if you are looking for something vintage on a bit more land, take a look at this well-preserved 1960 ranch on five acres in Moyaone Reserve. It was just listed for $390K. The 3 bed/2 bath home is 1,274 square feet on one level and has vintage touches from the front door to the lighting  to the appliances. Check out that vintage oven in the virtual tour. The house is open Sunday, May 18 from 1 to 4.

Moyaone Reserve, is a heavily wooded community of mostly mid-century modern and contemporary  homes near the Potomac River in the Piscataway National Park’s scenic easement. The homes in the community, just 20 miles south of Capitol Hill, were first built after World War II by architects such as Charles Wagner, who was heavily influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright, and Charles Goodman, who designed one of his earliest homes for clients in the community.
