Custom Mid-Century Modern For Rent in Mohican Hills

Jasper House

The Harold Esten-designed Jasper House in Bethesda will be available for rent for $4,700 a month plus utilities. The 1966 custom mid-century neo-classical pavilion is set back on a 1/4 acre mature-treed lot in the Mohican Hills section of Glen Echo Heights. The white brick and glass design with red doors and blue panels reflects the influences of Breuer and Mondrian. (I listed the house in 2009.)

Currently being rented by the home’s second owners, the 2700 square-foot home features a stone entry foyer leading to its two levels and 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The walls of glass provide plenty of light. The house has a large laundry/utility room, a two-car garage, and is fitted with premium appliances. The schools are Wood Acres, Pyle and Walt Whitman. The house will be available beginning December 20. If interested, you can contact Adam Vogt at adam.vogt@gmail.com or 202-321-7330.
