1962 Freeman MCM in Bradley Park – $799K

Bradley Park

I went to preview this¬†largely¬†untouched mid-century modern by Ken Freeman in Bradley Park in Bethesda. The 1962 two-level home with carport has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths and retains many vintage touches, including redwood paneling and the hanging globe lights as you can see from the shot above. You can enjoy some mid-century inspired cocktails on the back patio or screened in side porch. It is listed for $799K and is open this Sunday from 1 to 4 pm. Bradley Park was developed by Freeman, a New York clothing designer who moved his family to Maryland in the 196os to become a real estate developer. As the vintage newspaper ad for Bradley Park provided by the listing agents says, “Good design is ageless. Balance, harmony, proportion…the ageless values of any home are all blended in the design of the Bradley Park contemporaries.”
