Untouched Mid-Century Rambler in Kensington – $575K

Kensington Place

I have seen several untouched mid-century homes in recent days. (See my previous post on a home in Chevy Chase. I’ll have another post on a house in Bethesda soon.) A nice change from seeing some bad updates. Either you can keep the vintage look or do your own modernist update. This 1959 rambler in Kensington listed for $575K is as close to vintage as you can get. It has a great planter that wraps around the top of the stairwell that leads to the lower level. I even like the turquoise door and paint on the exterior in keeping with the (original?) mid-century color and vibe. See images here.
