1951 3/1 Goodman Mid-Century Modern in Wheatoncrest – $329K

The end gable living living room wall of features floor-to-ceiling glass and fireplace.
Here’s another 1951 mid-century modern by Charles Goodman in Wheatoncrest, which includes 27 homes designed by Goodman for developers Paul Berman and Paul Hammond. The 3 bed/1 bath home has nice wood ceilings, new bamboo floors and updated kitchen and bathroom. The gabled back end of the house features a wall of glass and fireplace overlooking the backyard. (The Wheatoncrest Goodman I posted here in May sold for $363, 018 minus $10,700 in seller subsidy after 12 days on the market). I doubt this one will stay on the market for very long either.

All Wheatoncrest homes were placed diagonally on their lots to create more privacy.

What’s with the second fireplace? Is that for firewood storage?
Yes. I’m believe so.
The open space to the right of the fireplace is for wood storage.
Curious to know why they put the Aluminum siding on?
