Robert Gurney Modern Home in Bethesda – $3.25 Million


This home located in Edgemoor by architect Robert Gurney is not mid-century, but it is definitely is modern. I think the downside to this house is if you are spending that type of money, you would want a much nicer view from all the those windows, say trees and mountains, rather than all of the homes surrounding the small suburban lot.

    Cool house, but incredibly expensive and it looks a bit out of place in that setting. I remember seeing something on the news about this a while back – the neighbors were not too thrilled about this place going in…

    Agreed. And it’s a little too boxy and fortress-like. A little too gulag for my taste.
